The Atari version of Frogmaster won an Atari Star Award.

The Commodore 64 version sold 35,000 copies. A version for the PET was created but never released.

According to the author: "The Frogmaster Frogs are first cousins of the famous LOGO turtle. Both are derived from the 1966 implementation. (My office at BBN was next to that of Wally Ferzeig -- the REAL inventor of LOGO). I also invented the mechanical LOGO turtle -- which still runs."
