Subject: DISK DRIVES WITH 1030

I have an old (very old) 800 with a Percom disk drive that
contains my printer interface.  In order to use my 1030 modem I must disconnect 

my disk drive or I get the message "Modem Power Lost".  Is
there an easy way to get my disk drive(and printer) to work
with the modem, or should I just wait until I scrape up enough
money for a new system?

I don't really know what the
problem is with this set-up.  The only
thing that might help is if you
switched the order of the peripherals.
(I don't even know if the 1030 has
a second port on it)
