From: ac483 Subject: Data tranfer via modem Date: Sun Jul 30 09:08:10 1989 Help.... I have left a message for help on the bulletin board ref: I have approx. 200 pages of data from an Atari 800 word processor that I would like to transfer over to my Mac Plus format. The word processor stores the files so that they are not readable by a normal Disk Directory command. Is there a way to make these files visible (and save me a lot of typing) I can then send them 9600 baud direct or over the modem. The word processor for the Atari is by LJK (Letter Perfect) Thanks for any help ** Answered by JOHN SUCHY (aa271) on Fri Feb 27 00:44:27 1987 ** My first attempt would be to print the file to disk. That is start the printing command normally, then when you get the P: prompt, change it to Dx:filename.ext. If this doesn't work, get back to me at aa271 and I'll get ahold of the CACE LJK expert.
