From: visitor Subject: INTERNATIONAL TELEX DIRECTORY Date: Sun Jul 30 09:28:26 1989 Although I understand it is possible to send Telex messages using a personal computer, how can one obtain international Telex numbers? As far as I know, only the Library of Congress in Washington has an international Telex directory. But they refuse to answer directory questions over the telephone. So, is there an online source for international Telex numbers available to the general public? ** Answered by JOHN SUCHY (aa271) on Thu Aug 20 10:15:51 1987 ** Your best bet is to find a company that uses telex and make friendswith someone who has access to their directory. I am assuming that you have a valid reason for wanting this info. It is probably illegal to use TELEX without being a subscriber. Your Co-sysop John E. Suchy aa271 Thanks for asking.
