From: ae501 Subject: MULTIUSER SYSTEMS Date: Sun Jul 30 09:29:19 1989 IS THERE A WAY THAT I CAN MAKE MY ATARI INTO A MULTI USER COMPUTER(I MEAN LIKE TO HAVE ANOTHER USER CONNECT BUT NOT BY A MODEM).ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRITIATED. THANKS RYE ** Answered by JOHN SUCHY (aa271) on Thu Aug 20 10:42:09 1987 ** Since this is being done so much and so publicly with the ST line, I'll assume that you are asking in relation to the 8-bit line (400, 800, 1200XL, 600XL, 800XL, 65XE, or 130XE). I know of nobody who has marketed a system for networking Atari 8-bit computers, but it may have been done. Check the Atari SIG's on COMPUSERVE and GENIE. Incidentally, the quickest way to find something is often to go into 'chat' modi in the SIG and ask for it. Your co-sysop John E. Suchy aa271 Thanks for asking.
