        Well, I checked it out, and you can't save directly to
an ASCII file with Atari Writer.  I spoke with the guys at B&G
Electronics and they say that there are utilities out there that
strip off and convert the AW file to raw ASCII.

        Sorry I couldn't be more help. (I think that Doug is
posting a converter soon in Uuecoded format.  Keep an eye out
for it.)
