From: aj008@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Aaron M. Barnes) Subject: Monitor Hookup Date: Mon Sep 30 20:14:55 1991 I have a Commodore 1702 monitor with seperate chroma and luma inp uts. I would like to hook it up to my Atari 65XE,but the manual d oes not provide I/O pinouts. My question: Where can I accquire a ready made monitor cable for it, as I would rather have one ready to use, or where can I find a source for pinouts so I can make my own? Thanks. -- Aaron Matthew Barnes aj008@cleveland.freenet.edu Cleveland,Ohio USA Huey Lewis and the News Fore!-ever. *** Answered by Michael Current, aa700: American Techna-Vision, for instance, lists a monitor cable for the 8-bit Atari for $9.95. Their number is 1-800-551-9995. Your local Atari computer dealer, or even a Radio Shack or similar store could be checked as well. The monitor jack on the 8-bit Atari looks like: 3 o o 1 o o 5 o 4 2 1. Composite Luminance 2. Ground 3. Audio Output 4. Composite Video 5. Composite Chroma
