From: ah292@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Robert Krynak) Subject: will a IBM HD work on my ST? Date: Mon May 10 09:15:58 1993 will a Conner hard drive mech. with a IDE controller work on my Atari ST? *** Answered by aa789 (Bruce D. Nelson) There is an IDE controller for the ST available in Europe, but to the best of my knowledge, it's not available in the USA yet. I believe, though, it was on the expensive side, even if you could get one. The "standard" ST disk configuration is a SCSI drive with an ICD (or maybe an old Supra) ST-to-SCSI adaptor. But the price and availability of those IDE drives sure look attractive. It would be nice if those adaptors became available in the USA.
