From: aa700@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Michael Current) Subject: Atari 8bit New Developments? Date: Tue Oct 22 21:33:27 1996 From: BobKlaas <bobkla19@mail.tcd.net> Date: 30 Jun 1996 03:35:50 GMT Are there any Hot Shot die-hard 8-bit programers out there that would be interested in updating a couple items for the Atari 8-bit? Pay?, hehe if the development sells you profit as much as I do for your efforts.. I own a couple things Software Source Code and a Hard Ware Interface..Hard Back and Restore could use an update, drive 9 is now avaiable through Sparta Dos X33a and X33b (b) is the dos I would prefer using along with any other modifications the programer would be interested in doing...??? Everyone wants an IDE interface for the Atari 8-Bit, no one other than Wooley has come up with it, Bob Wooley told me a couple years ago when I sent him the KPI Hard Drive interface and Source that the interface could handle the project.. He has been too busy to do anything?...Tom Hunt told me a couple of years ago that the interface would also handle CD-ROMS but nothing has been developed in THAT area either. This is the old Supra Hard Drive interface, will do SASI and SCSI MFM type drives. Any Serious takers will draw up a letter of agreement relating to the release of Source Code and Schematics for the Hard Drive interface...Looking for someone who is serious and interested in a NOW project, not a 3year down the road maybe???? (Been there done that!)... My background, have been repairing Atari 8bits since the early 1980's, Atari authorised a service center here using my setup, oked the Retail store as a service center with me doing the repair. I am not an authorised repair center on my own and the store has gone out of business years ago, owner had cancer and passed away. I have continued to repair units inexpensivly for school districts, and individualy. I have never intentionaly screwed anyone nor do I intend to at this point. I may be a little (Lot at times) out spoken, but am reasonable and can and will work with those that agree to work with me. I have dealt with the public for the last 38 years in another field and can mix in just about any enviroment. I have access to unlimited travel can go anywhere in the world provided I have the time. I have been seduced by programers in the past, turned over specific items, spent $$ to have items built, they (programer) in turn got burnt out. One specificaly refused to return the test items I had built to his specifications, stating the MAIL or UPS lost them and refused to have them traced. Later I found out from a friend of both that the individual never returns anything..If the language in the agreement seems a little strong then I hope you understand why it reads this way. Any takers???
