From: aa700@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Michael Current) Subject: Mega-Font-Texter 2.06 / word processor / commercial Date: Wed Feb 17 10:33:27 1993 From: chrisker@cs.tu-berlin.de (Christian Krueger) Hi, i am the creater of the program MEGA-FONT-TEXTER wich was distibuted by werner-raetz. in last summer i offer him a new very good version of this program: Mega-Font-Texter 2.06 it has the folowing features: WYSIWYG on a 640*192 scrolling Screen !!!! a column-lineal in inch module-feature (for later developments (bar-graph-display etc.)) and it works with new mega-fonts (more disk-space in directory) it runs (really run - because i take only assembler and quick as language NO MORE turbo-basics) on a normal Atari 800XL but it also supports a ram- or eprom disk in your system (configurable...) it includes also a very good printing-module, (the best prints on a 9-Needle-Printer with a 8-Bit Atari i ever had) because it transforms the screen-resolution into the hires 240*212 DPI printer resolution. 7 printing-modes are supported when changing from the TEXTER to the PRINTER-Module (and back) your workspace is saved (also normal XL) in RAM !!! German - special-characters (ue,sz .. are supported). this program is realy fantastic (and take a lot of time development) but it not seems that mr. raetz want to distribute it.... so i will try to distribute it on my own... if you want to have more informations from this program, mail to chrisker@cs.tu-berlin.de thanx ! -- Michael Current, Cleveland Free-Net 8-bit Atari SIGOp Carleton College, Northfield, MN, USA / UUCP: ...!umn-cs!ccnfld!currentm Internet: currentm@carleton.edu / Cleveland Free-Net: aa700
