Here are the original postings (more or less) by Purple Hampton followed
by several postings that some users made who didn't think that Purple's were
very clear. As usual I don't have the original poster's byline for attribution.

Alien vs. Predator - Cheat Codes Part I
This is the first of two parts of a cheat code. Best used for when
playing as a Marine. Below are a few definitions:
Hold= Whenever it says "hold" a certain key, you must do so
throughout the entire process.
Press= Whenever it says "press" a certain key, just press the key and move on.
To Activate the code do the following from within the main game screen:
1. Hold PAUSE
2. Hold OPTION
3. Press the "1" and "3" Keys
4. Hold the "2", "5", "7", and "9" keys together
YOU WILL HEAR THE PREDATOR LAUGH TO CONFIRM THAT
THE CODE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED!!!
This code enables the following functions:
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Press OPTION + 6 To Raise Security Level
Press OPTION + 9 To Lower Security Level
MOTION TRACKER
Press OPTION + 8 To toggle tracker on/off
WEAPON ACCESS:
Press OPTION + 1- 4 To access Marine Weapons (1=shotgun, etc...)
ALL WEAPON RECHARGE:
Hold OPTION + Press "1", "2", "3", "4" at same time

1. Press PAUSE
2. Press OPTION
3. Press 6
4. Press 1 + 3
5. Press the following sequence:
"B" , "A", "9", "A", "9", "A", "*", "OPTION", "6", "#", "*" , "*",
"OPTION", "2", "OPTION".
YOU WILL HEAR A SECOND PREDATOR LAUGH TO CONFIRM!!!!
PART II Function Keys:
This second code gives you all of the functions listed in Part 1 of
the code but the main function of the second phase of the cheat is
that you will never run out of energy or ammo as the bars will
replenish themselves as long as you have something from the start
(meaning if you don't have any smart-gun ammo when you activate the
cheat, you still won't have any once it's turned on... at which point
you use the ammo replenish function as described in cheat code part
1...)
OPTION + A Raises you a level in the base
OPTION + BLowers you a level in the base
OPTION + 5Toggles Cheat Mode On / Off

Subject: That AvP cheat code
...I had a lot of trouble with it. The instructions posted here are quite
vague. So, here is how you REALLY do it...
First, start a game. When they say "main game screen", that's not the title
screen. That is the screen where you are playing a game!
Next, hold down the pause button. Then hold down the option button. Don't
push them at the same time -- do them in order, so you've got the HUD and
game-save options on screen. Keep holding them both down through the rest of
the sequence.
Next, press 1 and 3 at the same time, and release. This will make the option
stuff disappear.
Finally, mash the 2, 5, 7, 9 keys at the same time. You are still holding
pause and option, right? Yeah, it almost takes three hands, but you can do it.
The predator will laugh then. Now all your codes are enabled:
OPT+6 = increase security clearance
OPT+9 = lower security clearance
OPT+8 = toggle motion tracker on/off
OPT+[1-4] = toggle various weapons
OPT+1,2,3,4 = resupply all ammo
(a bit tricky to hit all those buttons at once)
You can also use the code for the Predator. It doesn't seem to do anything
except give him weapons, but that's cool. You can start a new game with zero
points, give him all the weapons, then cruise around invisible, slaughtering
marines right and left.
It can even give you a subtle advantage as the Alien. You can disable your
claw attack. Then when you select tail or bite, that weapon will stay ready to
strike -- makes it faster to bring into action. This works really well for the
tail whip, because it can reach out and paralyze a marine before he knows what
hit him. It's neat to see the tail tip hovering in the upper right corner of
the screen, and use it to open doors.

for full ammo.

(Reading the "*" key as "STar" and the "#" key as "POund"....)

The following cheats will be active:

unpopulated airducts, but cannot leave through the
grates.)
* Cheat Mode: Press OPTION and 5 together to toggle Cheat Mode on
and off. ("CHEAT ON" and "CHEAT OFF" will appear.)
