VGA monitor?

Subject: VGA monitor?

This is kind of a simple question, but I don't know where to find the answer
other than here... Is it possible to use a VGA monitor for all three ST
resolutions? I really don't know the specs of VGA monitors, but I have heard
of people using VGA monitors for the color modes of an ST... 
 
BTW, the reason I am asking is that VGA monitors are much cheaper than 
multisync ones, and multisyncs are much cheaper than two atari monitors...

I have heard of 'boxes' that allow for the use of a multisync monitor
with the ST, though I have never seen such a beast.  You might try
contacting B & G Electronics and see if anything is available, though
I would figure that such a box and a Multisync Monitor would exceed the
cost of two 'USED' monitors - actually it would be one, since I assume that
you have a monitor now.
