Hooking up to Freenet...Don't have a clue. Help!

Subject: Hooking up to Freenet...Don't have a clue. Help!

I called INS, I got that far. The guy told me that my 1040ST
is too small for the plug-in. He suggested I upgrade my ST to 
accommodate the plug-in. He also mentioned changing my memory
space. It's all Greek to me! If there is anyone out there patient
enough to baby me through this, I would appreciate the help. :)
