From: ah292@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Robert Krynak) Subject: moving files from work area to mailbox Date: Sat Jan 9 16:28:47 1993 does anybody here know how to move files from your file work area to your mailbox so I can send them to someone? there is an uuencode option and compress option here on Freenet. and an option to send stuff to someone on freenet, but no option to send a file to someone not on freenet. there also is a command to move something from your mailbox or a message base to your file work area, but no command to move something from your file work area to your mailbox or a message base. **** Answered by Michael Current, aa700: Just before you send a message here on the Free-Net you are given a menu with 8 choices. Number 8 is Append a file to the message. You may use this to send any text file in your work directory, including a uuencoded file, to anyone on the Internet.
