From: as475@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Jesse Starr) Subject: 8-Bit upgrades Date: Sun Jan 10 11:46:40 1993 Greetings! I was wondering about 8-Bit upgrades for 800XL and 130XE computers. My friend has a few of them on disk but he has tried them and they have not worked on his 800XL. I wuld like to know if anyone has any 8-Bit upgrades...ANY. Mainly memory, video, sound, well basically all around upgrades. I heard that there was one on how to get your microporcessor to go at a higher clock rate. If anyone has these articles or files on disk and can send them to me, please e-mail if you have them because I would be interested. Thanks a lot! J. Starr -- "Took a chainsaw to my mind. Yes all will be fine! -Echo and the Bunnymen;Reverberation, enlighten me **** Answered by Michael Current, aa700: Just a reminder, there are a number of 8-bit upgrades here in the Atari SIG, located on the Miscellaneous Information board in the Atari Library. You may also find related upgrade information on the Tips & Tricks board in the 8-Bit Computers Support Area. If anyone has any upgrades not found here in the Atari SIG yet, please post them for the benefit of all!
