You can always change the escape command (default is +, 3 times) to another
character... say to '@' or to some other character that wouldn't show up
three times in arow.
It's been awhile since I used sx-express 850, but you can always include
the extra command in you init string.
Look in you manual that came with the modem for the location for changing it,
it will tell you the format.
